LUTZ HUELLE (LUTZ) ANSWERS FASHIONREPORTERS’ SEVEN QUESTIONS INTERVIEW
BARCELONA, September 4, 2008 /FR/ - Founded in the year 2000, Lutz is a French fashion brand and company based in Paris, which has been showing its collections on the catwalks of Paris Prêt-a-Porter.
Sold at a selection fo fashion forward shops around the planet, Lutz has been invited by 080 Barcelona Fashion to present a retrospective on the runway. The event is planned for today at 08:30 p.m. at Pavillion 8 of Fira Barcelona in the capital of Catalonia, and will recapitulate the key silhouettes in this designer’s house work.
Lutz Huelle has studied fashion at the London-based Central Saint Martin’s College and then first went on to work with Maison Martin Margiela. He has collaborated with the house’s designing studio for four years and was in of knitwear.
He then founded, together with David Ballu, ther own ready-to-wear house and company. Their nexy collection is expected on the runway of Paris for Spring-Summer 2009 at the end of the month.
On the occasion of this retrospective runway show happening in Barcelona, Lutz Huelle has answered FashionReporters’ seven questions interview.
What is fashion for?
To make ourselves feel good about ourselves.
If you were not a fashion designer, what would you be?
Anything to do with popular culture: film ,or music, whatever has to do with the moment, the times we live in.
What are you proud of?
To be in a situation where I am to a large extent able to do what I like.
What are you ashamed of?
My dancing after too much vodka.
If you could keep just one garment or accessory, which one would you pick?
My wristwatch, otherwise I would always be late.
What do you no longer believe in?
Being in the office and working on a Sunday.
What do you still believe in?
In Love.
